Things To Do In March 2016

Image

With Easter approaching and an extra bank holiday on the horizon, here’s the best things to use that much anticipated holiday time this March.

London Drinker Beer & Cider Festival

Being a successful coach hire company, we’re all too familiar with our local residents of Hertfordshire flocking to social events such as this. Being responsible residents, they of course hire us to transport them to and from the events to prevent causing danger to themselves or other road users. As we all know, drink driving is dangerous and illegal. This March, we see North London’s Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) present their annual beer festival that is, surprisingly enough, held north of the river. More specifically, the infamous Camden Town. Here, you’ll see pint enthusiasts taste their way through 150 real ales, ciders, perries and imported beers. Better still, you could be one of those coach enthusiasts. If you’re interested in reading more about the event, read more here.

Urban Food Fest

Another event revolving around what us brits seem to love most… food and drink. Here you’ll see a Shoreditch car park be transformed into a food frenzy with cuisine being inspired by countries all over the world. You’re not a real foodie until you’ve been here. It doesn’t stop there either, the organiser (a city lawyer by day) is well aware that all that food is likely to leave you gasping for some refreshing beverages to wash down the delicious sustenance. For that exact reason, the bars are fully stocked with craft beer, cider, wine and even champagne (she is a city lawyer) and if you’re feeling a bit fruity, get on over to the cocktail stand. Sound good? Here’s more details on what this mouth watering event has to offer.

Fossil Galore

We’ve done the food, done the drinks and certainly catered for anything an adult could possibly want. I mean, who would want more than tasty food and drink? We, when not driving of course, certainly couldn’t think of many events that would top the ones above. I’m sure you sensed the sarcasm, contrary to popular belief there’s more to life than food and drink. Here we have a family friendly event, suitable for all the family, Fossils Galore. This one, unlike our city counterparts, is just East of Peterborough. Given the location, it had to be included. It’s based in the seaside town (Well sort of seaside, it’s near and had a much better ring to it) of MARCH. Very apt considering the title. At fossil galore, there’s an interesting and educational aspect to a fun packed family activity and given the distance from our base in Watford it would be a great chance for the team to have a weekend away and take you there. Sound fun? Take a look at their website for more information here.

St Patrick’s Day in London

Ok, it’s becoming a bit of a theme now. Please be assured that our drivers are all responsible, skilled adults that are dedicated to their job. They do not consume alcohol on the job and our emphasis on events with large amounts of alcohol consumption are pure coincidence. That said, we have our fourth and final event in March that we feel you’ll enjoy. St Paddy’s Day! Get yourself down to Trafalgar Square to immerse yourself in Irish culture in the heart of London. St Patrick’s day is dedicated to the Patron Saint of Ireland and although the majority of the celebrations take place in Ireland, it’s widely celebrated by Irish ex-pats across the globe. Read more on this fun packed event here.

We hope you enjoyed reading 4 places to go in March 2016 and have a great time during the 3rd month of the year. ‘Doesn’t time fly’. Feel free to have a browse of the site and if you’re interested in some of our executive coach hire services, suitable for all occasions, get in touch via the contact form.
