Corporate events can be much more exciting at Christmas time. With MET coaches as your transport, organising a Christmas themed event for your team has never been easier or more fun.
The Christmas season is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the hard work and successes of your company throughout the year. The team deserves a special treat and we’ve got 3 great ideas that will have the office boiling with anticipation.
At MET, we provide corporate coach hire – from 16-seater minibuses, to 70-seater coaches. Whatever the size of your team, we’ve got room to accommodate everyone while transporting them in comfort and style.
Christmas markets are the perfect place to get everyone in the festive spirit and ready for the holidays. There are so many wonderful options around London and they usually open from mid-November, so you’ll have plenty of time to plan your group trip. The markets at Winter Wonderland are a great choice, as your team can hop on a few rides and play some arcade games whilst enjoying the buzzing atmosphere – you can never be too old for fairgrounds! The market consists of over 100 cabins filled with festive goods and gifts, as well as delicious and seasonal hot foods – think German sausages, mince pies and aromatic mulled wine. There’s also a Christmas market at the Southbank Centre with a stage area for enchanting Christmas performances, workshops and plenty of entertainment. After you’ve enjoyed your evening at the market, you could head out to the bars in London to continue your night. You won’t have to worry about getting home as our drivers will take care of that. Check out our fleet of minibuses and coaches here.
Get on your skating shoes for a night of magic in the courtyard of the beautiful Somerset House. The 900m rink – perfect for the whole team – is overshadowed by a stunning 40ft Christmas tree, as well as the exquisite façade of the stately house. Skating here has something for everybody – dance on ice to the tunes of the DJ at the Skate Lates, with groovy lights and an extravagant back drop, book skating lessons and even skate all night at the first ever ‘Skate all-nighter’ on the 07 December. There’s a Christmas Arcade hosted by Fortnum & Mason where you can indulge in cheese fondues, cherry Bellini cocktails and hot brioche loaves. You can even have a shop for Fortnum and Mason products. When you’ve skated to your heart’s desire, you are only moments away from the Christmas lights on the Strand. Venture up into Covent Garden’s many bars to continue the fun. Find more information on Somerset House here.
Hire the Lucky Voice Soho for a fun night of karaoke and cocktails in the warmth of a private VIP room. Sing to top of your lungs until 1am, whilst enjoying a range of food and drink packages. Select the ‘Elvis’ package and delight your team with bottles of spirits, buckets of beers and pizzas. Upgrade to the ‘Platinum’ package and tipple on Champagne. There are over 9,000 songs so there’s certainly tunes to fit all tastes. The drinks appear with a touch of a button – literally! There’s a ‘thirsty button’ in each room. Dress up for the night to be fit the theme. Don’t forget to stop by the photo booth for a cute memento of your evening!
Time is ticking and venues get booked up fast for team events during the festive period. We’ve given you some great options and we’re also providing you with the transport. We have a variety of minibuses and coaches, seating 16-70 people, so group size is never a concern for us.
